Coast & Karoo

10 days


Day 1: After you arrived in Cape Town there is time to freshen up before heading into town for some sightseeing and relaxation after the long flight.


Day 2: You start early to Cape Town International to do your check out flight and get briefed for your upcoming adventure. You will be back in town to enjoy another sunset at Cape Town's Waterfront.


Day 3: Early in the morning you leave for the airport and the start of your flying adventure. You are heading out following the South coast and arrive in Plettenberg Bay after about 2 1/2 hours of flying time.


Day 4: Enjoy Plettenberg Bay and pick your fancy! Ziplining in Knysna, swimming with seals or just viewing them from a boat, meeting the South African wildlife during a game drive in the Plettenberg Bay Game reserve. There are plenty of things to do - you just have to chose.


Day 5: Continue your flight along to coast and arrive after about 2 1/2 hours in Mazeppa Bay. Enjoy your afternoon and relax at this tranquil part of South Africa's Wild Coast.


Day 6: Today you are heading inland. You will be passing the Gariep Dam, South Africa's biggest water reservoir before landing in the capital of the Northern Cape province, Kimberley (flying time approx. 3 hours).


Day 7: Discover the old diamond city with its museum, the "big hole" and the battlefield of Magersfountain. You still do not have enough of the South African wildlife? Then we will book accomodation in Mokala National Park and you can enjoy another day out and about in nature.


Day 8: Let's fly again. Take your time while heading West over the endless nothingness of the Karoo before landing at Augrabies.


Day 9: Head out to the Augrabie falls national park - the "place of big noise" as South African's longest river, the Orange River thunders down the 56m falls. Discover the rough landscape and just another aspect of South African's divers landscapes.


Day 10: Time to return to Cape Town. After around 2 hours flight you will be arriving back at Cape Town International. Don't take the direct route but use the chance to head to the coast and return with some sightseeing over the city facing the famous Table Mountain. Ready to go back? Then our partners will bring you to the terminal for your return flight to Europe. Otherwise why not stay another night in Stellenbosch to relax with a good glass of wine and let all these valuable memories of the last days settle in?
