Due to safety situation in Mozambique we are not offering any routes within the area for now
Day 1: After your arrival at Johannesburg International it is just a short 20 minutes drive to Rand. Already in the afternoon you can do your check our flight. During dinner we will be discussing your routing for the next days as well as anything else you might want to know about your upcoming adventure in Mosambique.
Day 2: Maputo: Your first first leg of the day will bring you over the Kruger park to land at Kruger International to clear customs and to refuel. It is just a relatively short hop of about an hour to arrive at Maputo for immigration and your first couple of nights in Mozambique.
Day 3: Discover Maputo on your own.
Day 4: Inhambane: After you have refueld head along the coast line whatching out for whales and sharks. The 2 hours scenic flight will take you to Inhambane, one of the oldest settlements at the coast. Take the afternoon to discover the town before enjoying your evening seafood dinner.
Day 5: Bazaruto: You further follow the coast before landing on the small island of Bazaruto. It is time to relax, enjoying the wide beaches, a dip in the sea or some diving and snorkeling.
Day 6: Another relax day at fascinating Bazaruto
Day 7: Before heading back to us you will need to refuel in Vilankulu where you can also clear customs to leave Mosambique. It will be a long leg of around 3 hours which gets you into Polokwane International for immigration back into South Africa and another 1 1/2 hours to meet us at one of our partner lodges North of Johannesburg. We are looking forward to hear all of your adventures.
Day 8: After a last morning game drive you are heading to Rand airport enjoying some Johannesburg City Sightseeing from the air enroute. Our colleagues await you and are happy to drive you to Johannesburg International for your return flight to Europe.
We recommend to plan this route for a duration of at least 8 days.
