Day 1: You will be picked up from our partners when arriving in Johannesburg. It is just a short drive to Rand airport where you will be staying for your familarization flight and the first night in South Africa at Dakota Lodge.
Day 2: Richards Bay area: You are heading off towards the South with a magnificent sightseeing route alongside Jo'burg and over the Vaaldam to get to the coast of the Indian Ocean.
Day 3: Take a day to discover the magnificent Isimangaliso wetland park or take a boattrip at St Lucia to say hello to South Africas biggest hippo population.
Day 4: Port St Johns: After you refueled at Richards Bay you follow the line of the wild coast with its lush subtropical vegetation and arrive in Port St Johns after a 2 hours flight. Stretch your legs while discovering the town.
Day 5: Ready to relax? Why not going for a fishing trip or simply plunge down at the magnificent beach. Still too much energy? Then head for some diving or snorkering in the Indian Ocean. This day is simply to be enjoyed!
Day 6: Kimberley: Heading inland you will need to land at Mthatha to refuel before spending some sightseeing time in the air over Gariep Dam, the biggest water reservoir of South Africa, and heading to today's stop in Kimberley. Flying over semi-arid plateau areas, crossing grassland and parts of the Nama Karoo you arrive back the Savanna as you approch the old diamond town of Kimberley. Spend the afternoon sightseeing and learning about the mining activities when visiting the local museum.
Day 7: Madikwe: After refueling the 5th biggest game reserve of South Africa awaits you for a couple of days well deserved relaxation. Simply enjoy the tranquility of your lodge and the daily game drives to discover the Big 5 in their natural surroundings.
Day 8: Another relaxing day at Madikwe
Day 9: Time to head back! After your last morning game drive you will be flying to Rand and say good-bye to South Africa with a little sightseeing over Johannesburg city.
